THE RESERVE PROMOTES AN ACTION PLAN TO PROMOTE AS MARIÑAS AS A SAFE DESTINATION
The Mariñas Coruñesas and Terras del Mandeo Biosphere Reserve launch an action plan to enhance its municipalities as a safe destination against the coronavirus. You’ll bet on “sustainable ecotourism”, “quality”, “safety” and “closeness” as keys to revitalizing the sector in an initiative that includes security measures, promotion lines and training approved to deal with the Covid-19 in the sector, ranging from catering to accommodation, active tourism companies, agri-food companies, guides or travel agencies, as explained yesterday at telematics press conference the president of the reserve , José Antonio Santiso; the Reserve Ecotourism Association, Lolo Mosteiro; and the tourism and environmental technician of the reserve, Diego López.
The plan provides for several lines. On the one hand, for the promotion, a “powerful, non-static” web space will be created, with information from all the affiliated companies, which will have the quality seal of the reservation. Packages of tourist experiences and materials such as individual recyclable tablecloths with information and a map, compostable packaging for home food or vinyl will also be created at tables with links to the new website and letters from each venue.
