COVID-19 APPROVAL FOR RESTAURANTS AND PRODUCERS OF THE DA BIOSFERA RESERVE
The Reserve of Biosfera As Mariñas Coruñesas e Terras do Mandeo has decided to reformulate its Tourism Action Plan to the post-19 reality. It will therefore approve, with training courses to the company’s restaurants and producers, in the safety measures in the health emergency. This will be achieved thanks to the entity obtaining the Sicted (Tourist Quality Destination) seal at the state level.
The president of the Reserve, José Antonio Santiso, as well as the tourism technician, Diego López, advanced this Friday the new actions aimed at placing this territory as an attractive destination at a time when mobility is expected to be limited and the holidays are reformulated.
Among the novelties to attract customers will be to promote tourist experiences in the territory (agrotourism, the route of Impressionism, ornithology routes, interpretation centres of the territory and the historic center of Betanzos), a new website and the commitment to ecotourism, as they estimate that the future will go through the search for “green, safe and sostible” destinations as pointed out by López, who also announced the commitment to biodegradable packaging for home food and menus accessible from mobile , in this same line of action.
