Slow Food aims for a world where everyone can access and enjoy good food.
Its philosophy opposes the standardization of taste and the unlimited power of the multinational food industry and industrial agriculture.
Its work is based on a notion of food quality defined by three interrelated principles: good, clean and fair.
GOOD: tasty and fresh seasonal food that is part of the local culture.
CLEAN: production and consumption of food that does not harm the environment, animal welfare or human health
FAIR: Affordable prices for consumers and fair compensation for producers.
Considering that the objectives of Slow Food are in line with the progress of the Biosphere Reserves and also with our Quality Mark, we created the Mariñas Coruñesas Slow Food Community. This community will improve the positioning and international projection of the catering companies that have signed up to our Quality Mark.
