The Bird-watching route of ‘O Bosque Animado’, which is located in the dam of Abegondo-Cecebre, is an unquestionable point of reference in the Biosphere Reserve. It is a recreational and educational activity with a wide range of information about birds and also about the legends and myths of the area.

You can also visit the Mandeo bird observatories, including the one of Souto, located in Paderne.

Along the 109 kilometres of coast dominated by cliffs and blue flag beaches, you can enjoy so many paths through different areas of great environmental value (Senda Azul of Arteixo, lighthouses of Mera, etc.).

Cellars route

The region of Betanzos is considered one of the historical wine-growing ones of Galicia. There are guided visits, accompanied by tastings of local products and also by a high-quality wine: Branco Lexítimo.
